GA96HB149 96 HB 149 NURSING HOME-LICENSE-OWNERSHIP Amends the Nursing Home Care Act. Changes the definition of "affiliate" and adds definitions of "affected party" and "controlling entity". Adds items that must be contained in an application for a license under the Act. Provides that in determining whether to grant or renew a license, the Department of Public Health shall consider the record of the applicant and others. Provides for a public hearing in connection with a license application. Authorizes the Director of Public Health to impose conditions on probationary or other licenses. Makes changes concerning a transfer of ownership, denial of a license application, and other matters.
